Job summary

TEKsystems is recruiting for a seasonal contract role at Nintendo World Store in New York City. You will provide customer service, assist with purchases of Nintendo merchandise, demonstrate products, and recommend items to meet customer needs.

Duties include cash register operation and merchandise restock, with strict attendance requirements. The ideal candidate has at least one year of retail customer service experience, cashier experience, and a strong interest in video games or electronics.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience in a retail environment.
• Must have cashier experience.
• Experience in a video gaming or electronics environment is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of video gaming products and/or services.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills to interact with customers and represent the company publicly.
• Associates are required to work at least 3 weekdays and have full weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers at the Nintendo World Store in New York City.
• Assist customers in purchase of Nintendo branded merchandise and products.
• Provide customers with product information and demonstrations.
• Recommend products to meet customers needs.
• Perform cash register and merchandise restock duties.
• Adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines.
