Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join our store team in Wisconsin Rapids during peak seasonal periods. You will focus on delivering exceptional guest service, assisting shoppers with gaming needs, and promoting our Circle of Life buy/sell/trade/reservation model.

You will help maintain store appearance, stock shelves, and support sales initiatives while working with the team to meet goals and ensure a positive holiday shopping experience for guests.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video game needs, and recommending items.
• Support the overall shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure products are well-presented on the selling floor.
• Help meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures including attendance and confidentiality.
