Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak holiday periods. You will focus on sales, customer service, and maintaining a well-presented shopping environment while assisting in stockroom transfers and floor merchandising.

Ideal candidates prioritize guest satisfaction, have flexible schedules including nights and weekends, and can work independently or with a team. Prior retail or guest service experience is preferred and you must be 18 or older.

Qualifications

• Available for flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly personality with strong guest service skills.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Able to provide genuine and friendly help to every guest during each visit.
• Willingness to learn store policies and follow instructions.
• Reliable and able to stand/walk for long periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video game needs.
• Support store sales initiatives and maintain the shopping environment during peak seasons.
• Collaborate with the team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and keep shelves neatly presented and alphabetized.
• Help the store meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate as needed to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to attendance, dress code and confidentiality policies.
