Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis during peak seasons. You will deliver outstanding guest service in a sales culture that emphasizes our buy, sell, trade and reservation model, the Circle of Life, with a primary focus on sales, store maintenance and customer satisfaction.

You will greet guests, maintain the shopping environment, stock merchandise, resolve questions, and help meet sales targets while upholding store policies and safety

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with video gaming needs, recommending add-ons as appropriate.
• Support store appearance and participate in holiday sales initiatives.
• Keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Stock and restock merchandise and ensure shelves are presented well.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage goals.
• Address guest questions and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to store policies and confidentiality.
