Job summary

GameStop in Kentucky is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short‑term basis during peak sales days. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and delivering outstanding guest service in a busy holiday environment.

You will greet guests, assist with video game needs, stock shelves, keep areas neat, and help achieve sales and shrinkage goals. The role requires flexible availability, reliability, and strong communication to elevate customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with their video gaming needs, recommending additional items, and thanking guests for choosing GameStop.
• Fully support the shopping environment, including visual and operational aspects, and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas of the store clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist stocking and restocking merchandise, transfer products from stock to floor, and ensure items are presented and alphabetized.
• Assist in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and concerns promptly and escalate to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, including awareness of scams and safety procedures.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethics.
