Description

Our Garden Group, providing sales support and logistics for proprietary and recognized consumer brands, is seeking a full-time seasonal Merchandiser in Concord, NC. The role involves stocking and arranging product displays, including grass seed, chemicals, and clay pottery, in Lowe's, Home Depot, and Walmart stores.

Measures of Success

• Down stocking and maintaining set integrity for Central Garden products
• Setting and maintaining shelves per retailer planograms
• Installing and maintaining off-shelf display opportunities
• Engaging with consumers during peak season (training provided)

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Preferred merchandising experience
• Strong communication skills for interaction with store management and customers
• Good reading skills for understanding labels and re-tagging
• Ability to lift, bend, and pull 50 lbs. regularly
• Experience with ladders, pallet jacks, and hand tools
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, reliable transportation, insurance proof
• Daily access to internet/email
• Smartphone with Android 13.0+ or iOS 15.0+
• Responsible, reliable, dependable
• Alertness and safety awareness

Working Conditions

• Retail environment in garden centers and stores
• Monday to Friday, with some Saturdays
• Physical ability to lift, climb, and use tools
