Job summary

Total Wine & More in Danvers, MN is hiring a Seasonal Front End Team Member (Cashier) to provide fast, friendly service at the register and assist customers with questions about products and promotions.

The role may also include duties as a sales associate or merchandiser/stock associate, with emphasis on accuracy in transactions, loyalty program enrollment, and maintaining store standards. Applicants should be able to work evenings/weekends and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and team player mindset
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years in retail preferred
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including ID verification, payment handling, inquiries, loyalty enrollment, and bagging
• Greet customers, engage to build relationships, and inform about products and services
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store
• Adhere to all laws/regulations related to alcohol sales and store safety
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned
• Seasonal role may be short-term (up to six months) with potential non-seasonal progression
