Total Wine & More in Washington state is seeking a Cashier to enhance the customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and accurate transactions. Roles may include sales associate or merchandiser duties as needed, under store management guidance.

You will process sales, verify identification, promote loyalty programs, and ensure safety and compliance. The position is seasonal with emphasized training and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 1+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8-10 hours a day.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Answer inquiries, promote loyalty program, and bag products.
• Greet customers, build relationships, and inform about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards and adhere to alcohol sale laws.
