Job summary

Total Wine & More is looking for a friendly cashier to provide fast, accurate checkout experience and help customers with product questions in a seasonal role in California. You will process transactions, promote loyalty programs, and maintain knowledge of promotions while ensuring a safe, clean store environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail experience, familiarity with POS systems, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of work experience, retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification and payment handling.
• Greet customers and provide a personalized experience to promote loyalty programs.
• Build product knowledge through training of wine, spirits, and beer.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements and promotions and ensure store safety and compliance.
