Job summary

DHT Group, based in Reese, Michigan, is seeking safety-minded Heavy Equipment Operators for seasonal work at Michigan Sugar locations, including in-plant operations and piling grounds. You will primarily operate large front-end loaders to load and move sugar beets, with start anticipated mid-September and campaign-based dates.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of related equipment experience, ability to inspect and maintain equipment, and the ability to lift 50

Qualifications

• Must have strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures.
• Minimum 1 year of experience operating large front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment.
• Ability to inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on equipment.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds and pass a drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate front-end loaders and other heavy equipment.
• Load and move sugar beets per procedures and safety requirements.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and monitor equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and report issues promptly.
• Assist with other duties within the operation as needed.
