Job summary

Total Wine & More in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Cashier to deliver fast, friendly service and accurate transactions in a retail liquor store environment.

You will process sales, answer questions, promote the loyalty program, and maintain product knowledge. This seasonal role may become non-seasonal; schedule includes evenings and weekends and requires 21+ age and ability to lift items. We offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Passion for best-in-class customer service and a team-player mindset.
• 1–3 years of work experience; 1+ year in retail preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, and bagging.
• Deliver exceptional service by greeting customers and building relationships.
• Promote loyalty program and inform customers about products and services.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Keep store safe, clean, and compliant with laws related to alcohol.
• Perform cross-functional duties as assigned.
