Qualifications

• Arithmetical calculations to assist sales and inventory tasks.
• Clear speaking, listening, and comprehension for customer assistance.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English for instructions and policies.
• Must be able to present a valid work permit if under 18.
• Commitment to punctual and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Observe store rules and safety policies at all times.
• Maintain neat personal appearance and dress Code adherence.
• Observe scheduled shift hours as directed.
• Bag customer purchases following store procedures.
• Provide carry out service to customers.
• Return go-backs to proper shelves.
• Perform price checks as needed.
• Fetch items for exchanges or customer requests.
• Assist customers with purchases including loading items into vehicles.
• Collect shopping carts and return to designated areas.
• Move empty bottles to back room as required.
• Help clean spills and maintain sanitation standards.
• Sweep floors and assist with other maintenance tasks.
• Keep store front end clean and orderly.
• Handle damaged/spoiled products and monitor inventory loss.
• Conserve utilities and monitor energy usage.
• Assist in training personnel when assigned.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Record in-store merchandise usage per policy.
• Keep front end displays clean and debris-free.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation as required.
• Operate equipment and report issues to management.
• Follow security protocols and report suspicious activity.
• Notify department manager of personnel or policy issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
