Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Hanover, MD, is seeking a Part-Time Custom Framer to help customers create personalized framing solutions. The role focuses on delivering friendly service, completing framing orders on time, and maintaining a well-merchandised store for an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities include building relationships, assisting with Omni-channel processes, and supporting SOPs, safety, and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred, with ability to sell and assist customers.
• Experience with Omni-channel processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build customer relationships while creating custom framing solutions.
• Help customers shop and find what they’re looking for; maintain a well merchandised and in-stock store.
• Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time.
• Adhere to SOPs and company programs; support shrink and safety initiatives.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and restocking as needed; operate cash register.
