Job summary

Newell Brands' Yankee Candle retail team in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Seasonal Retail Sales Associate to deliver an inviting guest experience and help drive sales in a fragrance-filled environment. This part-time role reports to the Store Manager and supports day-to-day store operations.

You will assist customers with product knowledge, build loyalty through the Rewards program, maintain store appearance, and work with a small team to meet KPI targets while flexible hours including weekends

Qualifications

• High School completion or GED is required.
• Retail experience (1+ years) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to work in a fragrance-filled environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming store environment focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
• Understand guest needs through product knowledge and make emotional connections.
• Maximize sales potential by applying selling strategies and building loyalty.
• Drive guest loyalty through the Rewards program and KPIs.
• Assist in maintaining store appearance by following visual standards and keeping the store clean.
• Support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team.
• Support inventory management and control expenses; follow safety policies and loss prevention measures.
