Job summary

Oldcastle APG, Inc. is seeking a forklift operator to operate equipment safely and independently. The role requires reading job specs, adjusting equipment, and transporting loads within the warehouse. You will also perform routine maintenance and assist with inventory tasks.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent, can pass an internal certification, and demonstrate accuracy and reliability in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to pass internal certification program.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift as directed and safely.
• Position forks and lifting devices to move pallets, skids, boxes, or products.
• Transport loads to designated areas and unload materials.
• Support inventory management by weighing and labeling materials as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance and battery recharging; keep area clean and orderly.
