Job summary

Oldcastle APG in Florida is seeking a forklift operator to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, loading and unloading materials and moving pallets. The role requires attention to safety, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and a willingness to work flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing/retail distribution setting.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to pass internal certification training and to lift up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Position forks, lifting platform or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products or materials.
• Transport materials to designated area.
• Unload and stack materials.
• Inventory materials on yard.
• Maintain yard and work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Work with minimal supervision to ensure customers are loaded as scheduled without delay.
• Other duties as needed.
