Qualifications

• One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Valid PA non-commercial Class C driver’s license or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state forest roads, facilities, and recreation areas.
• Operate chainsaws, tractors, skid steers, and shop tools for maintenance tasks.
• Repaint blazes, remove windfalls, and maintain water diversion controls on forest trails.
• Mow lawns, collect trash, clean restrooms, and repair picnic facilities.
• Support fire suppression, prevention, pre-suppression, and prescribed fire activities.
