Job summary

QUALITY CONSULTING GROUP, LLC seeks a motivated individual to join our team for seasonal field and processing support in a world-class manufacturing environment. The role contributes to the Phytogen Seed Company research program, performing field operations, sample handling, and equipment maintenance.

The position involves assisting with planting, thinning, weeding, pollinations, and seed packaging, with supervision and training as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agronomy or natural science or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.
• Ability to expedite obtaining a driver license when required.
• Willingness to work 1st & 2nd shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience with field research operations and sample handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks in field and processing as part of the Phytogen Seed Company research program.
• Assist with tasks described for the Field and Processing Worker.
• Operate mobile field equipment and stationary field equipment under supervision.
• Prepare supplies, sort, weigh, package seeds, and ship as needed.
• General facility tasks including cleaning and organizing samples and supplies.
