Job summary

Quality Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a motivated Technician's Assistant to join our team for seasonal field and processing work in the USA. You will support phytogen seed research operations, assist with field equipment, and help prepare samples.

Duties include planting, thinning, weeding, pollinations, sample harvest, and packaging. The role requires flexibility to work 1st and 2nd shifts, weekends and holidays, and a valid driver license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Natural Science or related field.
• Standardize qualitative data.
• Leadership and Organizational Skills.
• The contingent worker will be responsible for expediting the needed driver license when asked.
• Availability to work all shifts, weekends and Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tasks in the Phytogen Seed Company research program.
• Assist with Field and Processing Worker tasks as described.
• Support Field Technician under supervision.
• Operate mobile field equipment or stationary equipment under supervision.
• Organize samples during harvest and/or processing.
• Sample processing: preparation of supplies, sorting, weighing and packaging.
• General facility clean-up and organization of samples and supplies.
• Perform additional tasks as requested by the supervising Field Technician.
