Job summary

Hot Topic in the mall is hiring a Seasonal Sales Associate to help fans find the merch they love and deliver an amazing in-store experience.

You’ll share your knowledge of music and pop culture, stock and merch products, run the register, and keep the store visually appealing. This role requires teamwork, strong customer service, and at least 16 years old, with pay between $16.70 and $18.40 per hour.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Fandom knowledge of music and pop culture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide an amazing shopping experience to encourage return visits.
• Cover sales floor and maintain visual standards.
• Process sales transactions at the register and promote add-ons.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising alignment.
• Share fashion and music trend information with management and HQ.
• Support stock room organization and store cleanliness.
• Communicate and work effectively with teammates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Leader.
