Job summary

Better-Community-Living-Inc is seeking creative and fun individuals to assist young adults with I/DD and/or ASD to develop community skills and participate fully in their community as valued members.

You will provide individualized guidance, support and problem solving assistance, and help access and coordinate potential community outings and enrichment activities such as cooking, photography, music and arts, and public transportation usage.

Responsibilities

• Providing individualized guidance, support and problem solving assistance.
• Participate and coordinate enrichment groups such as cooking, photography, music and arts, public transportation use etc.
• Promote self determination values and self directed options.
• Enhance the capacity of communities to value and support people with disabilities and their families.
• Respond to the specific ethnic, cultural and linguistic needs of these young adults.
• Maximize community interactions and engagement.
• To coordinate SAFE INTEREST BASED FUN!
• Completed all agency required training.
• Other duties as assigned.
