Job summary

Heritage Club in Mason, Ohio is seeking an Operator I to support golf course maintenance under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendents. The role involves operating equipment, daily course preparation, mowing fairways, approaches, and rough, and assisting with maintenance tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to follow directions, and complete Basic Safety Training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand directions and operate golf course machinery.
• Completion of Operator training program within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Operate all basic utility vehicles.
• Safely operate fairway, triplex, and rough mowers.
• Safely operate pull-behind blowers and rollers.
• Assist in divot and ball mark repair and grounds maintenance tasks.
• Participate in renovations, aerifications, drainage, and tree removal projects.
• Perform winter repairs and paint course paraphernalia during off-season.
• Inspect machines and report deficiencies to the Equipment Technician.
