Job summary

The Town of Snowmass Village is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for the Transportation Department. This in-person seasonal role performs cleaning, minor repairs, snow removal, and basic vehicle/workspace maintenance for transit assets.

Eligible employees receive an $800 end-of-season bonus, a $1,700 recreation benefit (ski pass), and comprehensive benefits during the season. CDL‑B is preferred, with duties including vehicle care and facility upkeep.

Qualifications

• Previous experience driving a truck or bus is desirable.
• Experience operating and maintaining motorized equipment and appliances related to building maintenance and snow removal is desirable.
• Valid Commercial Drivers License Class B.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and appliances to clean buses and delivery vehicles to access wash bay and docks.
• Coordinate with the Transit Foreperson on cleaning of vehicles and depots, bus stops, walkways, and storage bays.
• Clear facilities of trash debris.
• Perform snow removal with hand tools, powered equipment, and/or a plow truck.
• Operate heavy equipment in confined spaces with safety.
• Safely operate service vehicles and plow truck on public roadways.
• Learn proper use of motorized and mechanical equipment.
• Perform essential functions listed in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodation.
