Job summary

The Town of Snowmass Village is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Technician (Part-Time) in the Transportation Department to perform cleaning, minor repairs, snow removal, and general upkeep of transit vehicles and facilities around the town.

Candidates should have CDL Class B, experience operating motorized equipment for building maintenance, and the ability to plow in confined spaces; benefits include a $1700 ski pass, EAP and life coaching, sick leave, and free RFTA bus passes.

Qualifications

• Experience driving a truck or bus is preferred.
• Experience operating and maintaining motorized equipment for building maintenance and snow removal.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class B.
• Able to operate a snowplow in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Clean buses and delivery vehicles and maintain wash bay access.
• Transport vehicles to the shop and coordinate with the Transit Foreperson.
• Perform snow removal using hand tools, powered equipment and/or plow trucks.
• Operate heavy equipment safely in confined spaces.
• Safely operate service vehicles and plow trucks on public roadways.
