Bass Pro Shops is hiring for a seasonal Events Associate to support store events and short-term seasonal assignments. You may interview on the spot at our national hiring event and help run activities, workshops and customer engagement throughout the season.

The role emphasizes delivering world-class customer service, guiding purchases, and promoting programs while working in a lively retail environment with families and children.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to perform data entry, analyze reports and ledgers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other Associates.
• Ability to function in a noisy and hectic environment, with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Support a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Provide a legendary experience for every customer, every time by assisting customers in making buying decisions by: identifying and evaluating customers’ needs, making product recommendations based off of this analysis and promoting programs including, but not limited to CLUB Membership, VOC and In-Store Pick-up
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers, children and customers.
• Assist with the execution of seasonal events.
• Facilitate “in-house” outdoor skills workshops.
• Participate in Store “events” as scheduled.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe at all times.
• All other duties as assigned
