Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is a Southeast-based catering company expanding into sports and entertainment services. We are seeking stewards to support event logistics at Duke University athletics venues, with shifts that vary by calendar events.

Position is seasonal/part-time, offering on-the-job training, a competitive starting wage, and opportunities for advancement in a dynamic event environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Must be a phenomenal team player.
• 1+ year experience in kitchen or steward role preferred, customer service preferred.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean kitchen, washes dishes, and preps foods as needed.
• Sets up dish stations, including dish machines and sinks.
• Maintains clean floors and organizes work areas.
• Loads/unloads and stores china, glassware, and cookware.
• Assists in food prep and duties as directed by the chef.
• Performs other related duties as required.
