Job summary

Montgomery Parks seeks energetic, customer-oriented, and organized seasonal/intermittent staff for Event Center operations at Rockwood Manor Retreats & Events in Potomac, MD and the Lodge at Little Seneca Creek in Boyds, MD. Work hours are flexible and include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays; the facilities operate year-round.

Positions are seasonal and do not include benefits. Candidates must be able to lift up to 30 pounds; on-site training and CPR/First Aid may be required for

Qualifications

• Seasonal, part-time positions with no benefits.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds frequently.
• Flexible work hours including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with set up and tear down of tables and chairs for Park Event Centers.
• Assist with general cleaning of facility.
• Interpret and understand written diagrams of event space to ensure proper placement of tables and equipment requested by clients.
• Take down and store equipment in a proper manner.
• Assists with maintaining and repairing equipment and building as needed along with general facility and grounds cleaning.
