Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to patients under general supervision and following policies and guidelines.
• Plans and implements nursing care; documents assessments and reports needs for intervention.
• Formulates and communicates goal-directed plan of care; ensures patient rights.
• Assesses health status comprehensively; conducts ongoing assessments and documents findings.
• Initiates discharge planning with initial admission assessment and communicates plan of care to the team.
• Transcribes and ensures physician orders are implemented; evaluates patient outcomes and documents progress.
