Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a seasonal Emergency Department position at the Marana Free-Standing ED in Marana, AZ. Night shifts with 3 12s per week support high patient volumes and fast-paced environments.

The RN will provide patient-centered care, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Seasonal 13- or 26-week assignments are available depending on department needs, with

Qualifications

• 3+ years of ED RN experience.
• RN license (state or compact) required.
• BCLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
• NRP preferred per facility guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Develop and update individualized care plans with the care team.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and code team activities.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and post-discharge care.
