With nearly 60 years of successful MEP design experience, GHT Limited is one of the largest MEP engineering consulting firms in the DC Metro area. Our LEED Gold certified office is close to the Ballston Metro and in the heart of Arlington, Virginia. GHT hosts a Seasonal Summer Program which is designed for individuals who have a minimum of one year completed in pursuit of an electrical engineering degree. Seasonal Engineers will be assigned to the Base Building, Interiors, or Operations & Energy Services (OES) Studio.

About the Program

Individuals selected for the program will acquire a working knowledge of the AutoCAD program with in-house training and understanding of all GHT’s standards, details and computer systems for engineering. They will perform assignments requiring application of basic engineering fundamentals and design/drafts (CADD input) assignments. All work will be closely directed, supervised, and reviewed by senior designers or engineers.

Candidates are encouraged to take the Engineer in Training exam. They are also encouraged to be active members or attend general meetings of technical societies related to their field of competency (ASHRAE, IES, ASPE, NSPE, etc.).

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship & successfully complete pre-employment checks. GHT participates in E-Verify.
