Spokane County is seeking an Election Worker (Supplemental) to perform a variety of basic election tasks. Training will be provided; duties may scale with training and supervision. This is a supplemental, seasonal position with variable hours and no benefits.

Typical duties include processing mail ballot envelopes, counting and opening envelopes, reviewing ballots, and following procedural paperwork. A valid driver’s license may be required for night ballot pickups, with additional training

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.

Mansioni

• Receive and process mail ballot envelopes.
• Count and open envelopes, review ballots.
• Follow and complete procedural paperwork and maintain accuracy.
• Night driving for picking up ballots from a drop box.
• Other related duties as required.
