Job Responsibilities:

• Driving a straight truck based out of Putnam. All local driving.
• Pickup and delivery of company trucks/trailers (straight truck will be required to use a pallet jack and liftgate potentially on a daily basis).
• Load and unload trailer contents in a safe manner, following required procedures.
• Daily coordination with Dispatch Department.
• Complete daily truck inspections.
• Report all vehicle or trailer damage as immediately as possible.
• Follow safe driving techniques; participate and contribute to company safety programs.
• Adhere to all laws, Federal, Regional, and jurisdictional as outlined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or terminal manager.

Education/Experience:

• You must have 2 solid years of driving experience.
• With a Class DZ license.
• Have a clean CVOR and driver abstract.
• You must be bondable.
• Monday to Friday day shift, 8 to 12 hours.
