Job summary

United Parcel Service is seeking a Seasonal Cover Driver (with Warehouse Support) in Jeannette, PA. This dynamic, dual-role position combines driving UPS deliveries with occasional warehouse tasks, adapting to daily needs and seasonal demand.

Expect a fast-paced outdoor environment with opportunities to rotate between roles. Typical shifts range 3.5 to 5 hours for warehouse days or 8 to 10 hours for driving days, Monday through Saturday depending on operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday depending on operational needs
• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
• Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
• Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations
• Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements
• Occasionally, work inside the facility as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker
• Typically work 3.5 to 5 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday when in warehouse role
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Report on the assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver
