Job summary

United Parcel Service is seeking a Seasonal Cover Driver (with Warehouse Support) to help delivery operations. In this dynamic role you’ll rotate between driving UPS routes and performing warehouse tasks as needed.

Typical day includes 8 to 10 hours, Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat, outdoor work, lifting up to 70 lbs, and meeting driver qualifications. This seasonal position can include holidays and peak periods, with competitive weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver's license (no CDL required).
• Satisfactory driving history.
• Pass the DOT physical.
• Pass a UPS driver test.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles.
• Deliver and pick up packages with excellent customer service.
• Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and in and out of customer locations.
• Meet all UPS driver qualification standards and requirements.
• Occasionally, work inside the facility as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker.
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Report on the assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as Cover Driver.
