Job summary

United Parcel Service is seeking a Seasonal Cover Driver (with Warehouse Support). You will alternate between driving UPS delivery routes and warehouse tasks, depending on daily needs. Typical shifts run 8–10 hours (Mon–Fri or Tue–Sat).

Outdoor work, safety compliance, and customer service are key. Base pay is $28.00/hour with opportunities for seasonal advancement. The position may require working indoors in the warehouse during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license (no CDL required; license type varies by state)
• Satisfactory driving history and ability to pass DOT physical and UPS driver test
• Excellent customer contact and driving skills

Responsibilities

• Typically work 8 to 10 hours per day, Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday as needed
• Safely operate UPS package delivery vehicles
• Deliver and pick up packages while providing excellent customer service
• Work independently in a fast-paced outdoor environment and at customer locations
• Meet UPS driver qualification standards
• Occasionally work inside the facility as a Seasonal Warehouse Worker
• Sort, move, and handle packages in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Report on the assigned warehouse shift when not scheduled as a Cover Driver
