Job summary

Salvation Army in Central Maryland is seeking a Seasonal Driver to operate a Salvation Army vehicle, transport passengers and red kettle equipment to bell ringing locations, and support the annual campaign. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid state driver’s license, and at least two years of vehicle operation experience.

You will log mileage, follow safety rules, and help with other bell-ringer duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of vehicle operation experience.
• Valid State Driver's License.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to drive in heavy traffic and long trips.

Responsibilities

• Operate Salvation Army vehicle to transport bell ringers and equipment to kettle sites.
• Provide transportation for bell ringers to kettle locations and to various sites.
• Pickup Angel Tree donations and transport to warehouse.
• Pickup and deliver miscellaneous items as needed.
• Maintain vehicle safety, log mileage, and adhere to traffic regulations.
