Job summary

Got Light in San Francisco is seeking a Seasonal Driver to support our warehouse and events from August to November 2026. You will load, drive a 24' truck, and deliver event gear to venues, testing equipment and ensuring cleanliness and presentation.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a clean driving record, 1–2 years in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of loading procedures. Flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• This position requires a High School Diploma or GED.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Comfortable operating 16-foot and 24-foot trucks in San Francisco, including hills, narrow streets, and venue load-ins.
• Familiarity with proper box truck loading procedures (weight distribution, securing cargo).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• Basic knowledge of lighting/sound/video equipment is preferred.

ABOUT THIS JOB:

The Seasonal Driver will be responsible for the accurate pick, pack, pull of technical equipment for special events and able to drive Got Light 24' trucks as needed. Part of this process includes equipment testing, quality control, and product cleanliness. In this position, you are also responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks, inventory management, and transportation to and from venues or vendors.

We are seeking qualified candidates to join our Warehouse department, and to uphold the integrity of the company brand, with cleanliness and proper presentation, help maintain your workspace and the common areas of the warehouse, and assist in loading and unloading of gear.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

REQUIREMENTS:

• This position requires a High School Diploma or GED.


• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Comfortable operating both 16-foot and 24-foot trucks in San Francisco, including hills, narrow streets, and venue load-ins. (Approximate driving distance from Got Light to the venue: up to 100 miles).


• Familiarity with proper box truck loading procedures (weight distribution, Securing cargo using ratchet straps)


• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event and production schedules.


• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced work environment.


• Basic knowledge of lighting/sound/video equipment is preferred.

WHAT WE OFFER:

• Hourly rate is based on work experience.


• $25-$27/hr

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.


• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 70 pounds.


• Continual standing and/or walking without limitations up to 10 hours daily.


• Ability to work in an environment that may be noisy, unheated, and not air-conditioned.


• Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists.
