Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Plainfield, IN is seeking a Seasonal Dock Worker for the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) to handle item picking, labeling, scanning, and shipping preparation.

You should have distribution center experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be comfortable with overtime and seasonal temp-to-hire pathway.

Qualifications

• 4 months distribution facility experience.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs.
• Proven ability to be successful in a fast paced, seasonal environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate within the GreyOrange or Jennifer systems to pick items.
• Maintain accuracy by verifying book titles, quantities, and item conditions.
• Label, scan, and sort boxes for shipping.
• Follow all safety guidelines – safety shoes required.

This location is a Distribution Center. Overtime opportunities are available throughout the summer months. Throughout June- September will include mandatory and overtime hours based on needs of the business.

Seasonal Dock Worker | $17.00-$19.50 | 2nd Shift

Shift:

2nd (3:00pm-11:00pm), Monday-Friday - overtime required including Saturday

Location:

700 Airtech Parkway, Plainfield, IN 46168

Path to Permanent Employment:

New hires participate in a 90-day evaluation period designed to support training and successful integration into the team.
