Job summary

CVS Health in Canton, MA is seeking a qualified District Support Pharmacist to help cover pharmacy scheduling, support the pharmacy team, and ensure safe, patient-centered care across stores in the district.

The role requires an active pharmacist license, travel within the district, and flexibility to work nights and weekends. You will supervise operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager and deliver clinical services where permissible.

Qualifications

• Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located.
• Active National Provider Identifier (NPI).
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list.

Responsibilities

• Travel within a reasonable radius to support market staffing as business needs require
• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Complete required training within designated timeframe
• Concentrate on a task over a period of time
• Pivot quickly between tasks to meet patient and business needs
• Verify prescription information and label accuracy, ensuring patient safety
• Provide excellent customer service and coach the pharmacy team
• Support immunizations and clinical services where permissible
• Maintain inventory controls and protect cold chain products
