Summary

Stone Brewing is searching for an efficient, reliable and passionate Seasonal Dishwasher to join our Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens team to support over the summer (May - September). This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently washing, cleaning and sanitizing our glass, dishes and silverware. If you have a strong work ethic, a desire to learn and are dedicated to your craft, we want you.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a seasonal position with the primary purpose being to support our Bistro operations during our highest volume period (May - September). If another Part-Time or Full-Time role becomes available during this time, the Seasonal Dishwasher is welcome to apply to that position.

Responsibilities

• Working machine and/or hand wash station as necessary.
• Removing garbage and recycling at end of each shift; assisting in trash audits.
• Promptly reporting equipment issues, shortages and other problems to chef or supervisor.
• Completing opening and closing checklists; closing the kitchen properly and/or assisting others in closing the kitchen.
• Consistently maintaining all company and industry safety and sanitization practices and standards.
• Willing to be a valuable Team Stone contributor who will practice open and respectful communication while assisting with identifying and driving process improvements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience and/or training in a high-volume kitchen environment.
• Must have a current San Diego County Food Handlers card, issued by the city of San Diego.
• Reliable transportation is necessary.
