Job summary

Bavarian Inn Restaurant in Frankenmuth, MI is seeking dependable individuals for a seasonal dishwashing role. Expect shifts that cover busy times with 11am-7pm; 1pm-9pm; or 3pm-Close. Availability on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays is required, with 2+ weekdays also needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Standing for 8+ hours in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Pre-soak or scrape off food residue from dishes.
• Safely sort and stack dirty dishes.
• Load dirty dishes into racks for the machine and operate dish machines.
• Unload clean dishes and return sanitized items to their spots.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area.
• Monitor and replenish dishwashing detergents and cleaning supplies.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and recycling appropriately.
• Assist with cleaning kitchen floors, walls, and equipment.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent contamination.
• Perform end-of-shift cleaning tasks.
