Job summary

The Destination Imagination program at Deerfield 109 seeks a Seasonal-Destination Imagination School Coordinator to guide students through set construction and on-stage design, collaborating with the Music Director and Assistant Director to ensure the physical stage aligns with the artistic vision and pacing of the show.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and the ability to positively interact with staff and elementary school aged children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run weekly practice sessions to guide students through Instant Challenge materials, team-building exercises, and critical thinking skills.
• Secure weekly rehearsal spaces within the school, coordinate student dismissal/pickup logistics, and manage basic building supplies or prop storage.
• Partner directly with the District DI Coordinator to submit team information, track student rosters, and finalize tournament registrations.
• Monitor student safety and ensure a collaborative, student-led environment that respects DI’s No Interference policy.
