Job summary

Pierce One Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Delivery Driver to deliver Amazon packages in Buford, GA. This full-time seasonal role runs during the peak period and offers daytime shifts with a typical 4-day workweek.

Responsibilities include timely delivery, vehicle safety inspections, and delivering excellent customer service while handling packages up to 50 lbs. Priorities are safety and efficiency on every route.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening.
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report.
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time.
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions.
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed.
• Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members.
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle.
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes.

This is a Seasonal driver position with Pierce One Logistics, Inc., delivering packages for Amazon! Seasonal Positions are typically from October 15 to January 15.

• Military veterans are welcome!


• Commercial, DOT, CDL (or work-related) driving experience is a plus, but not mandatory


• As we grow, supervisory roles will be available

Benefits & Scheduling:

• Starting pay $23.25/ hour (paid biweekly)


• 10-hour shifts are typical


• 4-day workweek (40 hours) is typical


• Schedule for full-timeteam members work a fixed schedule which includes 1 weekend day, Sunday or Saturday, allowing for more personal time.


• Expect daytime shift


• A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks during your shift and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1-2 WEEKS to COMPLETE. It may take longer if you have an out-of-state driver's license.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years old


• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license


• Authorized to work in the United States


• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)


• Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)


• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills
