Appalachian Mountain Club seeks a Deli/Prep Cook at Pinkham Notch Visitor Center in Gorham, NH. The role prepares meals at scheduled times, supports kitchen staff, and covers for cooks as needed.

Expect a 9:00–17:00 shift, five days a week, with emphasis on waste reduction and quality food service. Responsibilities include assisting in menu planning, supervising deli operations during shifts, and helping with inventories and deliveries.

Competenze

• Minimum one year of culinary experience in a commercial food service operation with supervisory experience.

Mansioni

• Prepare meals per pre-planned menus for guests or crew.
• Limit waste by portion control and efficient cooking.
• Substitute cook meals for breakfast/dinner when needed.
• Assist in menu planning for the season and for cost control.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation to NH health standards.
• Supervise deli during shift and manage crew lunch setup.
• Assist in inventories and ordering of food and supplies.
