Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking seasonal team members to support Grocery, Guest Service, Early Morning Production or Produce, and counter roles in Deli, Bakery, or Meat & Seafood. This temporary position requires flexibility for weekends, days, evenings and holidays, with responsibilities across departments.

Staff will provide exceptional guest service, knowledge of products and weekly ads, safe handling of food samples where applicable, and professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or hospitality preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service and assist guests with meal solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ads; assist across departments.
• Safely handle food products for sampling to guests where applicable.
• Stock and merchandize products and specialty items throughout the day.
• Weigh and scan products, handle cash and give change as needed.
• Keep aisles clean and assist with general housekeeping across the store.
