The Inland Group of Companies is hiring a DEICER for the winter season at [Airport Code] - [Address]. The role supports safe aircraft operations by performing de/anti-icing using glycol-based fluids under IDS and regulatory guidelines.

You'll inspect aircraft, prepare equipment, complete logs, and maintain a safe outdoor work environment. The position is part-time and seasonal, with on-the-job training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English.
• Ability to communicate clearly and provide verbal direction in English.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
• Successful completion of all IDS classroom and on-the-job de/anti-icing training requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees and client representatives.
• Ability to speak and hear effectively in a safety-sensitive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft de/anti-icing operations in accordance with airline, IDS, and safety procedures.
• Inspect aircraft before and after deicing to identify and confirm removal of frozen contamination.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all company policies and operational procedures.
• Participate in pre-event planning activities, including equipment inspections and operational readiness checks.
• Service and prepare deicing equipment, including fueling vehicles and replenishing glycol supplies as required.
• Complete required operational paperwork, records, and logbook documentation accurately and on time.
• Report maintenance concerns promptly and ensure all equipment issues are documented and communicated to maintenance personnel.
• Follow all equipment shutdown and pad closure procedures at the conclusion of operations.
