Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Seasonal DC Associate on 2nd shift in Fontana, CA. You will assist with receiving, sorting, and shipping merchandise and operate distribution center equipment under supervision.

Responsibilities include pulling products for weekly distributions, staging orders, and maintaining safety and accuracy in all paperwork. This role is non-exempt with full-time/seasonal status, offering competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of work experience.
• Experience in shipping and receiving/order picker preferred.
• Proficiency with inventory/database programs and POS System knowledge preferred, Epicor NSB a plus.
• Ability to operate distribution center equipment such as pallet jack, reach truck, forklift, etc.
• Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
• Ensure Effective Communication - Listens carefully and attentively to others' opinions and ideas.
• Establish Trust - Follows through on commitments. Promotes a culture of respect and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Pulls product for all weekly distributions to stores.
• Prepares and stages orders for shipping.
• Operates powered industrial forklift/reach truck to transport inventory.
• Ensures proper paperwork is completed before product is sent out.
• Back stocks all incoming freight to respective bin locations.
• Unloads and loads trucks and assists with receiving.
• Maintains a safe, clean working environment.
