Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly, hardworking individual for the role of Customer Service Merchandising Attendant at a single Carlisle, PA site. The seasonal position focuses on stocking, merchandising, and maintaining vending areas with quality products.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to manage inventory and cash from machines while delivering excellent customer service. Pre-employment drug testing applies and EOE.

Responsibilities

• Receive delivery and stock items at client locations.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels.

• Collect unsold merchandise and money from machines.
• Maintain clean vending areas and machines.
• Assist customers with a positive attitude.

This is a seasonal position only that will be working at one location in the Carlisle, PA area. Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
