Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is hiring a friendly team member for a Seasonal Customer Service Merchandising Attendant role at a Carlisle, PA location. You will stock, assemble, and maintain vending machines, ensuring proper inventory and refrigeration, while delivering excellent customer service.

The position emphasizes independent work and teamwork, strong organization, and effective communication with customers and staff, plus opportunities for hands-on training and growth.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and stock items at client locations.
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels.
• Place stock on shelves or racks in machines or coolers.
• Ensure refrigeration of all cold food products.
• Oversee ordering of merchandise and control inventory.
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise.
• Operate machines to collect money (coins and bills).
• Interact positively with customers with a friendly smile.
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Merchandising Attendant. This is a seasonal position only that will be working at one location in the Carlisle, PA area.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
