Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a friendly Customer Service Attendant in Lansing, MI for a seasonal role. You will receive deliveries, stock vending machines, and ensure proper inventory and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and stock vending machines at client locations.
• Fill and rotate items to maintain proper inventory levels.
• Ensure refrigeration and sanitation of machines.
• Oversee ordering and control inventory for machines.
• Handle cash collected from machines and maintain accurate records.
• Provide friendly service and interact positively with customers.
• Maintain clean vending areas and perform routine maintenance.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Customer Service Attendant in Lansing, MI. This is a seasonal position only.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receive delivery of items such as soft drinks, bakery products, snack items and specialty foods at client locations
• Fill vending machines to proper inventory levels with items such as soft drinks, pastries and packaged foods
• Place stock on shelves or racks in vending machines or coolers
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products
• Oversee the ordering of merchandise and control inventory
• Collect unsold and stale merchandise
• Collect money, including coins and bills, from machines
• Communicate positively with customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Perform routine maintenance and sanitation of machines
• Maintain clean vending areas
